Born of an alliance of High Kin, Desert Kin, Lythrain, and Penshalt, the Graykin are the most physically diverse of all the races of Khes’yc. They range in height from 4 to 6 feet and could be as frail as a Lythrain to as thick as a Penshalt. Their skin and hair are usually dark due to their desert home, though their eyes can be any color.

The Graykin are the last to bear the magical Seals gifted to the Kin by the Great Dragons. While originally plentiful, the magic dwindled among the various Kin until it was considered a rare occurrence. Among the Graykin however, the Seals flourished; a Graykin without a Seal is simply considered a half-breed and is not accorded any status in Graykin society.
